Jennifer Meyer


Dr. Jennifer Meyer, a partner, leads the strategy consulting practice in North America. She has nearly 30 years of experience as a strategy consultant and educator. In her consulting work, Dr. Meyer has helped clients with strategy development, economic evaluation, and business portfolio modeling in industries that include technology, mining, transportation, energy, government, and non-profits. She has been with the firm since 1996.

In her work with SDG’s executive education practice, she creates and delivers decision-related courses as part of capability-building programs for numerous clients. She also teaches in the Strategic Decision and Risk Management (SDRM) certificate program affiliated with the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. In addition, she helped develop and deliver the online “DQ for Leaders” course. She is coauthor of the 2016 book Decision Quality: Value Creation from Better Business Decisions, with Carl Spetzler and Hannah Winter.

Dr. Meyer received a PhD and an MS in operations research from Stanford University and a BA in mathematics and physics from Drake University. She is a member of INFORMS and a Fellow in the Society of Decision Professionals (SDP).
